The journal of Wood Material Science & Engineering (WMSE) aims to serve the forefront of wood science and technology field and accepts original articles relevant to:
- Wood material science with emphasis on: water-wood relations, wood durability, wood modification, wood mechanics, wood composites, engineered wood products, and co-efficient wood based products
- Wood engineering, i.e. the application of the wood material to the design, manufacturing, building, and use of machines, constructions etc. In this aspect the link between the nature of the wood material and the properties of the final wood products in-service is of outmost importance
Review papers may also be accepted, but the topic should be discussed with the editor before submission. Wood Material Science & Engineering is published with 4 issues per year. Editor is Professor Dick Sandberg, Linnaeus University, Sweden. Manuscripts should be submitted online at the journals homepage.
